Hybrid DSP uses and recommends the following components. If you want to design and build your own system then buying through us means dealing with a reseller that works personally with these products in their own systems and subsystems and can therefore provide in-depth support. In many cases we have written the Windows and Linux software and optimized device drivers that comes with these products ourselves and which are now used and supplied by the hardware manufacturer!

What makes them unique?

  • Massive FPGA processing resources - two Xilinx Virtex-4 FPGAs of choice up to LX160 with speed grade 12
  • High speed PCI, PCI-X or PCI-Express interface (> 750MBPS sustained)
  • Use in PCI workstation, cPCI racks, single board computer or hostless solutions
  • True high speed distributed data acquisition - optical I/O allows up to 150 meter cable length at 1000 MBytes / second (1 Gigabyte / second)

PMC/XMC Digitizers and Waveform Generators with large FPGA processing resources and optional optical fibre I/O (sFPDP, Infiniband, Ethernet)

Note that PMC / XMC cards can be used in cPCI and regular desktop / workstation PCs (PCI, PCI-X or PCI-Express) by use of a low cost adapter - ask for details. These cards can also be used standalone and by use of high speed optical fibre links of up to 150 metres can be positioned remotely.
